INFORMED DECISION-MAKING
What Is Galleri?
A blood test to discuss with your physician
Galleri is a multi-cancer early detection blood test designed to identify signals associated with multiple cancers. It is a screening test, not a cancer diagnosis; it complements routine guideline-recommended cancer screening, and results must be interpreted by a healthcare provider.
Who May Consider Galleri?
Galleri may be considered by adults with elevated cancer risk, including many adults age 50 or older, those with a family history of cancer, current or previous smoking history, or other clinical risk factors determined by a healthcare provider. Suitability for Galleri testing is determined after review of the patient’s age, medical history, and risk factors.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR NEW PATIENTS
Our practice currently accepts new patients for ongoing primary care only through Seoul Medical Group (SMG) Medicare HMO.
New patients who are not establishing primary care with our practice may, however, schedule a Galleri-only visit specifically for Galleri testing.
Galleri-only visits are limited to:
Galleri eligibility review
Galleri test ordering
Blood collection
Review and communication of the Galleri test result
A Galleri-only appointment does not establish an ongoing primary care relationship with our practice. We are unable to provide ongoing primary care, routine follow-up for unrelated medical conditions, chronic disease management, or evaluation and treatment of unrelated health concerns through the Galleri-only service.
If a Cancer Signal Detected result is reported, we will review the result with the patient and explain recommended next steps. Additional diagnostic testing, specialist evaluation, and ongoing medical care should generally be coordinated with the patient’s established primary care physician and/or appropriate specialists.
